Hmm...I only have today and tomorrow to work, so I'm unsure if I'll get her done, but I'll post anyway!

@sulk-sal, troop on! Those colors are ace

@michin, I tremble in fear, michin's skills are ninja. I like ponytail punk hair btw...

    @baranha... amazing sketch

@hurman, you just joined my league of favorites question though for you in regards to what you mentioned about xaya's work. Did you mean your pics suffer a balance issue if the the face is too detailed? Because in my piece I concentrated on the face a lot (I felt like I spent 50% of the time painting the face), does mine look like unbalanced?

Xaya: Having both knees bent looks a little awkward to me, I think one of them should be straight.
Edgarei: I agree with the comments on the face, the expression seems to bland / neutral. It doesn't have to be anything too overly emotional, maybe a slight smile or just a small movement in the eyebrows to give it a bit more life. Also, what's with the one green foot?
Hurman: Chest looks a little off. You've lost the centre line of the body a little. That medallion on the chest is a touch too far to the left when following down from the neck.

Some gorgeous entries being made here.
@Sulk-Sal I really like those colours.

I'm late to the party and still nailing down the pose at the moment, hopefully I get it all done in time.

tchuk: Awesome work! wow really loved your explanation on the concept of the character and process. Mine feels a bit too stiff. I shoot my own reference and made the costume and lighting but I think I failed to captured an actual personality. Your post was super helpfull in spotting the lack of those qualities in mine. Hope to see more of your work around here.

A lot of great entries floating around. I ll try to cover what I thought about some of these, off the top of my head:
    - sulk-sal: This is a very interesting style and I really like the colors. As it is too cartoony I cannot comment much on proportions and fluidity but it looks pretty good.
    - michin: Interested to see where this goes, at the moment she looks like a priestess but I am sure it will end up being a lot more royal. Nevertheless, you have followed the reference very accurately which is a good thing, I suppose. Keep it up
    - Kathleen: I love the pose of this character, and the costume. I like the direction you have taken, gloomy and dark. Very fluid lines. Very interested to see the final.
    - Tchuk: Amazing coloring and detail on the costume. Very nice ^^
    - Xaya: the rendering on this is amazing but the pose she strikes seems somewhat forced/unnatural. It has to do with the legs or maybe sth is missing in the background to make it look more sensible......
    - Moirae: I really like the energy of this piece and I dont have a problem with the proportions. Maybe the costume could look a bit more regal, but its cool that you went for this punk-rockish look
-edgarej: Definitely not what I first thought when imagining the Emperor ! I like the painting feeling of this but I am not sure about how I feel about him being so young. Still great composition and lighting.
    - hurman : I didnt notice Moirae's observation that sth was wrong at first, but either way this still looks nice. I really like the costume you have chosen.

Okay, thats as far back as I will go, apologies to those that I will omit.
    Onto mine:

As I have been disqualified 3 times already for stupid, yet perfectly legitimate, reasons I would be very happy if anyone can spot anything that goes against the rules so that I can edit it accordingly. And yes, those are JRR Tolkien's elvish on top and bottom although I wont say what it says (yet) ^^
Hopefully I can color this in time...........

Clouddreamer: as long as green is the most common color on him, it looks good to me. Just don't forget to post your WIPS and submit properly!

Havok Reed: Just wondering, but if I did my character's skin green (dark elf btw) would that count towards the green quota or would her clothes have to be green aswell? If her skin is green I would have maybe red clothes (what little there is). Otherwise I would just do green outfit and different skin.
    Thanks.

Moirae: the Brief says that green is the most common color within their wardrobe, so unfortunately, green skin would not count.
