    COW #364: Evil Dimension Walker

    Brief:
Many fantasy creatures have some sort of magical abilities that sets them apart from most other creatures. This creature in particular has the ability to phase in and out of different dimensions. However this creature refuses to use its powers for good, and is particularly very dangerous because of it's ability.

    -it is "evil"
-has the ability to move between dimensions

Here are some lines i did.. i really didn't know what to do heheh. I was thinking of doing a creature that capture the physical strings from the astral dimension or something like that.. (I guess that would be the creature with multiple arms) I also tried to add the "humanoid" aspect to this creature.

@Lander: Looking good! Love that snaky stab attack from behind that portal!

@AbrahamDHR: For some reason I really love the second from right thumbnail on the top, but the creature concept you went with is fantastic as well. I know it's a creature of dark, but I think it might be a tiny bit too dark still (that's coming from someone who always tends to draw too dark ^^ ). I probably would emphasise those light sources a bit more and light up the creatures forms a bit more.

I'm busy cleaning up all those messy brush strokes for my picture:

This was supposed to be some kind of demon possessed by a slug, but it turned out more like a mech so I ran with it. Then it started kinda looking like a rabbit and with it being close to Easter I ran with that too. :|

rubicante: Unfortunately it is looking both too humanoid (kinda get away with it) and too mechanical (kinda not get away with it)...we have character of the week and industrial design of the week for those areas so we try to keep things as creaturely as possible here...

Rob Powell Yes, I'm aware that it completely fails the brief. I wasn't going to put it in the finals thread for those reasons, but I'm having fun with it so I figured I might as well finish and post it here. As a cautionary tale, I suppose.
