Wow, very impressive sketchbook. You've got a ton of potential, it is very good to know what you want to do later in life at such a young age, since you can focus on reaching those goals early on. You're definitely on the right path and it seems like you work quite hard! Definitely didn't think you were so young when I saw your alien design in the CHOW challenge, very impressive. I would suggest you draw more naked figures instead of going for these guys in full armor right away, or maybe draw the naked figure underneath first and then add the armor on top. That way it would be easier to spot mistakes, some proportions are a bit off in these knight drawings. You tend to draw the arms very long (sometimes they come close to touching the knees in a standing position) and also quite short legs. This ends up making all your knights looks very very small, if you drew them naked it would be easier to spot the proportional mistakes. Over all this is a very impressive sketchbook and I hope you keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback! I try to do more figure studies. Almost all of those knights are drawn during a class, so I have to draw them without any reference. Also I usually draw with ballpoints so I cant correct them and I want to have somewhat clean drawings. I'll try to pay more attention to proportions in the future sketches. Thanks!

I went and bought myself a couple tubes of gouache. I had already a couple but not enough to really paint anything. I think gouache has become my favorite painting medium, because its really fast and has really nice look to it. I used to paint everything with watercolor but I couldn't get the look I wanted, also I really don't like to work digitally, so I try gouache for now. I'll try to do a couple of photo studies a day to get better with it, here are the first two. If someone paints with gouache, I would love to hear some tips because I'm a total beginner with it!

Today's practice. Still trying to get hang of it, but gouache is so far definitely more fun and pleasing than digital.

For these I tried a different paper which didn't work at all. It was way too absorbent so I couldn't get intense colors.

These didn't turn out that good. On the top painting I painted the water too bright.

Today's painting turned out horribly so instead here are today's warm up figures. I found an old flat-tip calligraphy marker that was really fun to use.

Doing some watercolor. I hadn't use them in a long time so I was a bit rusty. Next I should combine gouache and watercolor because watercolor is way better with covering large areas and blending. Gouache is better in doing details and its easier to control.

Wow this is a very impressive sketchbook! I can see you've already learned a lot. Your gesture/figure drawings are great. The proportions are pretty much spot on. Something which I personally struggle with a lot but then again I've only done a few sessions. Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see more of this.

Little animation test. I've no idea how to animate properly, I just grabbed a bunch of paper and drew. It was fun though, I might do more.

Great work so far. Your watercolor ships are very good. Also, i really like your last sketches, good anatomy both for animal and human. Keep it up!

Here are couple doom inspired demons. Fellow students give me weird looks when they pass by and see me drawing stuff like this. At least I didn't draw them naked which was my original intention.

guassin kans suositteleen maalaamaan paksummin jotta paperi ei näy läpi, koska vesiväri soveltuu siihen huomattavasti paremmin mut idea guassissa on löytää oikee vesi- maali suhde jotta saat oikeen efektin aikaan, prosesseja on niin paljon erinlaisii, mut ite tykkään enemmän alottaa ohkasesti ja sit lisätä valkosen joka tuo myös peittävyyttä, tummasta vaaleeseen.
    http://gurneyjourney.blogspot.fi/201...nd-how-to.html
gurneyltä pitäs löytyy guassista prosesessista enemmän blogissa ja youtubessa.
mut jos ihan välttämättä haluut vähän ohkasemmin maalata:

    valkosen guassin voi sekottaa vesiväriin:
