Nice aircraft. Do you have Scott Robertson's books? I think they would go really well with the stuff you are drawing, if you don't already have them.

A value study. I should probably do more of these. And I don´t have Robertson´s books but I´ll buy "How to draw: drawing and sketching objects and environments from your imagination" as soon as I have earned some money. Thanks for reply!

I tried to take this painting as far as I could. I'd be happy to hear how could I improve. I left the outlines on purpose.Click image for larger version.

Sup Juntunen! I'm 16 from the UK, I mostly do more traditional but loving the vehicle designs, (have to say i've shifted to more life drawing and anatomy but used to do a lot of vehicles)
Yeh really nice use of simplistic forms for those aircraft, you might like Darren bartley's designs. Can't say i encounter many teens on here so this thread is awesome, I'll sure be checkin' it out more man! XD

Very neat aircraft designs, also loving the armored guy. To do that in class means that you have a very good visual library! Keep expanding it!

Thank you both really much for commenting! It's really encouraging to have such nice comments! I definitely liked Darren Bartley's art and I haven't seen his stuff before, so thank you Ben Luder!

Here's something I also did in class. It's really rough and I used only ink and markers so I couldn't fix any mistakes. But I have noticed that sketching only with ink has really boosted my confidence.

Nice stuff man. Loose and gestural, while also conveying form; thats the way to go, keep it up.

Some quick color pencil sketches done in various places. As you can see, the topics are really random. I just started sketching the first thing that came into my mind!

I forgot to mention in the last post that it would be really helpful to get some advice related to the cave painting. I may do a separate thread to the art critique center when its more refined.

I think this is pretty much finished. Of course I could do more detail, but I don't find it necessary.

Good SB! You're progressing nicely. Compare your soldier and Uruk Hai drawings to your geography knight drawing and the improvement is all there. Keep going, the ideas are good

Thank you very much! Yeah, I can see some progress happening thanks to summer vacation. I have drawn really much for the past month, over 8 hours a day.
