Somedays i can┤t concentrate or just for a short time
anotherone i do amazing stuff in just in short period.

    Don┤t know!

Oil painting is really something for me, because i need the time and the possibility to correct stuff.

Ok as i said some stuff, not really my best stuff yet.

the figure up right is from loomis the other two out of my head

some reference stuff.... investigating more time... i know!

Good stuff man, the one problem i see in your life studys is the contour of the bodies, get a good silhouette(sp?) of the character, women with nice smooth soft curves and men...well you know. other than that, looking real good man. Keep it up.

    Latest time for an update!

Well i of course studied and killed some pencils but not posted them...
I did some more oil paintings... withouth ref! (really the last time i do that!)
i not finished it and will probably overpaint some areas...

just a blurry close up from the painting... don┤t want to show u the shit i did with the surrounding

u know that? ME too! did a new try because at my first i saw many proportional mistakes.... i think i keep the one hand sillouette-like
just don┤t know what to do with the background!?
Any advice for achieving a plain black background?
    About 2- 3 hours i think!

next update not so far away!

    Thank you both very much!

@Pesmerga: Right, i hosted my earlier pages at lycos/tripod it worked half a year then it was suddenly locked and deleted... because it wasn┤t allowed.

@2100: Absolutely right, i really have to do some (extreme) expressions to add some more live to the drawings.
The drawings are mostly without ref. just the clean ones are with ref.
but u see where i used and where not.

Here are some more drawings, i just drew without knowing what it would be.
Gonna be time to get a scanner, sorry!

Hi, firstly, i'd like to say, V nice work! I like the one in chalk/pastel on brown pastel paper (i think its pastel)

However i do have some crits. You're paintings of faces are really great but some of your sketches seem a little off. The facial features seem slightly out of proportion. apart from that, fantastic work!

    Hope my crits useful!

    thank you t.m0 and J2XA,
its right, i spend to less time in checking in proportion and perspective,
i also have to find a better, effective way to shade...

ok here is yesterdays gone-to-bed sketch

    next time something completely done!

no ref. and too small paper

Great stuff, The paintings I really like they display a great amount of emotion that smarmy disaffected look. Though in some the body does not seem affected by the emotion the face conveys . I like your gesture studies.
