This is looking awesome so far!! Thooooooough the general direction of the edges indicates some kind of bottom-up perspective, in fact it really looks like it, and that makes the head seem awfully big. You might want to either adjust the silhouette or the head size.
Or maybe it's just me *blinks* =_0 Aaaaanyways, keep it up!

thanks algenpfleger, well i tried to scale down the head but it looks kinda odd if i do so. I do a break now, perhabs i see things clearer later.

Ok here┤s the scenery, i didn┤t found a ref. so this is still all by imagination
don┤t know if it works... i definitly have to study some more anatomy...

    ok here we go:

Ah no it's perfect now, since the perspective reads clearly But before, it looked like the viewer was looking up, which kinda made it seem like the head wasn't in perspective.

    Hey Xaya!

I'm ashamed I haven't peeked in your sb yet, but your female adventurer caught my eye in the Chow (or ex-Chow) which lead me to your SB. I'm really impressed! Your speedies and eye for colour is juicy (for a lack of a more appropriate word!) and desirable, I wish I had this knack for it.

I'm afraid I don't come bearing crits this time but I do have some stars up my sleeve and a subscription Keep up the amazing work!

@algenpfleger: yes, i see what you mean right now. I hope this update still works...

@AsaB:Thanks for the candies. My color skills a based on study natures color themes

@Zulu!!! thanks for kick my ass softly. lol. I hope i didn┤t disappoint you with that update...

ok i changed a lot, i tended to do a night scenery with blue black background, moonlight etc. Just my typical dark theme.
But looking at the red dress i give her, a real green enviroment would be more pleasent. I think that was a good choice... no ref. yet, sorry!
At least for the hands i need some photos... still one of my weakness.

long time no see... dear sketchbook! Well i gonna start a new one in the next time, also because of the dead-links at the first pages.

Well i done quite a lot of new paintings, altough not as much as i wanted to do.
I gonna show you them some days later.

Here is a speedpainting, something about 30min... PS of course.

I like your latest landscape picture. It's a straightforward and simple piece, but I think those can be the hardest. Well done, IMO. And I liked following your progression with the red dress image.

all your digi pieces have so much atmosphere! and beautiful light! the only mini-critique i can think of is that the thingie behind the space smuggler's head looks very much like a gloriole - or is that on purpose?

    keep it up!

wow, thanks a lot for your candies and critics!!!

@katinki: it isn┤t a gloriole or a nimbus, i chose the circle design just for the purpose to give a focus for the head.

Another simplified enviroment, about 15 min, i test some brushes at the moment
Hope you Asatira like this the same.

This is a old painting i started... not quite finished yet... it continues the series with the red dress girl in the woods (not exactly red riding hood)
Not quite happy with the spacial depth....

Ok and my last CHOW submission...

I didn┤t wanted to add dynamic (with poses) but to focus the inner feelings of the character... learned a lot... but still not the next level...
