Hey Xaya, I've been browsing through some pages of your skechbook and I'm amazed by the improvement of your skills. Your oil paintings are sweet! I specially dig your portrait (you're a cutie btw).
Wish I could have your oil skills xD I'm liking your pencil concepts as well, and I se you're getting the hand of your wacom. About the floating girl, I don't see anything wrong with the body, maybe it's the angle you chose? The face tho is what worries me, I think the mouth is unfinished, that's why. I like the fact that you're trying different things at the same time.
Well, I'll keep an eye on your stuff, very good!

i still think your girls could really use a more skinny look (its not a matter of taste, but of body- construction).

that cube- cluster-thing is really cool, really something new.
keep it up (maybe a combination of something like that an a portrait?)

I like alot of the stuff going on here and like the balance you have between traditional and digital. I'll keep watching this sketchbook.

Slowly it the replies increase (there were times i didn┤t get one in about 6 updates)

So first of all MayYeo: You are too nice!! Hope to show you some more oil paintings in near future!

Hannes: I think i now what you mean,... so that i show more of what is underneath (muscles / bones), right?

Zero Sum: Also a big thank to you!

So here is a fast sb done in PS (don┤t know if it is my first digital done, but one of my firsts surely. I used a mirror.
The shading and coloring mostly was done from my imaginary, because it was quite dark in my room and i to lazy to switch on some lights...
    See yourself:

Some great stuff, you did a great job on the Oil portrait and a lot of your pieces have nice composition and promise if you keep working at them...I liked seeing efforts in altering poses as you went though WIP, very willing to change whatever is necessary to make it work...good sign! Ill be back

    thanks a lot Jakers!!

Ok here is a lighting / enviroment study, it was done quite quick in about 20-30 min (with reference). I absolutely have to do more of these, because i noticed i learned not to much about this subject yet.... and i study interior architecture (so it wouldn┤t be too bad to draw and paint things like that better)

    cool speeds xaya
love that one with the weird rock tower thing with the yellow pyramid at the top
if you added a few little tiny humans it would be really boost the space it already has
and that last one with the girl in the forest is looking real nice
    keep it up mang

yeah, these lighting studys rock! the cityscape and the geometrical structure (rock-tower, like dadushin called it). these glowing squirrels are cool too, but i think it would look amazingly with refs (forest, tree, squirrel).
