    I agree copaloro...itís something I know I am bad at and I havenít put in enough time to fix it, since I feel like I know in theory how to do it but I canít execute it well. Trying to draw from the shoulder does indeed help a lot, just keep at it I suppose!

    Tried to do soe tracing to try to force my mind to think about the overall shape of things instead of looking at individual components. Think it has helped, second image is with no tracing and I feel like I captured the shapes better than before.

    Sometimes I feel like Iím going backwards with art... still trying to refine lines & get shapes down better, but still messy. Am doing drawabox & proko as well. Portrait isnít finished - well aware that the lighting is off and it needs lots of neatening. Just trying to find light/dark spots and learn to build structure.

    Getting there...need to fix up more of the features, new layer to adjust lighting further, address the nose & mouth especially and that eye doesnít have the lighting done yet. Still, progress is progress.
