    Sci-Fi illustrations

    Hi everybody,

Here is a group of illustrations I've done few months ago, but I never shown them on this forum. They are representing the evolution of my CG art work. The oldest is the first one.
I used to work from sketch on paper then colorised with photoshop.
The last one was done from a small composition study, trying to get more freedom with photoshop.
Your C and C are welcome.
    gbonamy.

Very cool. You have a good sense creating consistant environmental compositions. Really, I guess the only suggestions I could offer would be to push the details a little more. You have great, rich backgrounds in most of these pieces but I think that they compete with the forground for attention. If things were a little sharper on those tower things on the back of the tank, for instance, it would really add a lot of beneficial focus.

Great work all in all man. Keep it up.

very nice, the second is my favourite. i agree with exo about the bluryness, you could use it in a better way to accent depth.
    good job

    Very cool.

The only thing that doesnt do it for me is the mobile city. The city doesnt look big because it looks close to that girl up front and, cmpared to her, its quite small.

is it just me, or do the clouds in the last one seem like they're moving to other people too? like an optical illusion kinda thing.

I think that one is my fave...all the rest are pretty tight too!

    rock on!

The second one has nice, bold color contrasts going on. I would love to to see what the others would look like if you pushed the contrasts a little more. Really nice work. This site really makes me want to do more photoshop.

    Nice works.

I like the train alot, but they're all great looking. Good use of darks and lights. Perhaps punch up the contrast a little more on the last one (the tank looking one)?
