Random sketches, which will mostly be mechs...probably.

Hello again Conceptart.org! Its been a long time since I posted anything (not since the old site... ). Anyway, thought i'd start a new sketchbook and get involved here again. Here's some recent bits n pieces.

microns on moleskine. The grey tones is actually photoshop, but I do plan to start using markers and/or colour pencils soon. C&C welcome!

    Thanks guys.

Tried out some polychromo pencils to shade this one, not sure it worked tbh.

Really good sketches, solid line control and nice style. Maybe try to exaggerate and to differentiate line weight (I really like how Toph Gorham does this).

Thanks mrJB. And thanks for pointing me toward Toph. I wasn't aware of his work.

Thanks Michin. Glad you like em.

Received a set of Copic (neutral grey marker set). Here's a quick doodle to test em out.

This sketchbook is amazing! And thank you for sharing the process in #4. Did you follow a similar process for these new landscapes? Keep posting this is really inspiring stuff!

I like the mechs. On the landscapes I think you could leave more areas blank - the ground starts to look fussy.
