    Day 7:
Lost 85% of my work to photoshop file corruption. Sad day. I was making a more detailed lined version of the grayscale painting and working out the perspective better, but all of that is gone now.

Here's 15% of what I did today...Figuring out what the front right shop looks like in detail.

Day 7, Progress Log: Finished the modelling

Day 8, Progress Log: Realised I lost the Lowpoly during remeshing. Couldn't figure out how to get a useable UV-map out of it, so I just started to polypaint. Rendering is going to be....interesting oO

Out of curiosity: Once you get a frowny face for missing a day, is there a way to 'work it away'? Or is it going to stay there to taunt you forever?

It stays there forever, think of it as the number of times you pressed yes to continue like in a video game.

    Day 8

Tried to fix all the lightning issues, but at this point might as well move on to color and try to get as much done within the 2 days left.

Progress Log: Not that much since everything kept crashing while I tried to figure out how to get a good rendering. I'll probably give up on this for now and think about it more during the next project ^^*

    = Day 9 =

No goal or progress for today. Just took a relaxing day and came upon Noah Bradley's art journey which is inspiring a crazy new goal of finishing a drawing each day starting tomorrow.

Failed to change the Material of the eyes to make them shinier...oh well. Anyway, I'll consider this finished and it went way better than I expected

    Things I learned:
.) Just do the eyes seperately. They are easier to control that way.
.) Generally make a plan of everything you'll need down the line (Materials, Maps, renderstuff, etc.) before you start. Fewer surprises...which is a good thing in this case
.) Save the LowPoly before doing anything drastic.

    Next up: Motimon

    Day 10.
Wasn't able to get to color.
For the next piece I'll need to be faster and more decisive in the thumbnail and sketch phase.

    Hi!

Wancom problem here. I had to uninstall, install, uninstall, install ... (you get the picture) my Wancom tablet Pen and Touch 4/5 times per DAYS. I have a little "correspondence" with the Wancom help since one week.
No matter what driver I use (3.5.3-5 or the older), come a time when I lost the pen pressure.... and my table start to mess.
I had to finish two animated short this summer, I can't if I had to spent 1hours (at least) per day uninstalling, installing drivers and other stuff. Is somebody here who have the same issue?
My issue is with all soft (I tested both Photoshop and SAI), I tested to both win 8.1 and win 7 (same both), I think maybe I have a conflict with something else...? But I kind of clueless....

If somebody had the same problem and found a way to fix it!

    So I gonna re-re-re-re-re-re-install the driver ...

About the challenge, I won post onligne the stuff about the films (so I do a little bit of 8 bit for fun. But My fun time is (litterally) eaten but this damned Wancom issue... So I'm still on (thought) but I had to fix this for be on in 100%...

    I didn't do anything on Day 11.

    GOAL
...is to push that sniper piece to completion.

    PROGRESS
For Day 12 I fixed a few anatomy issues and then designed the clothes for the character. I also played around with some colored thumbnails to explore some different compositions. Nothing is final yet though.

Hey Mina, I don't have a wacom but I used to. When your pen pressure dies I think you can try starting the tablet preferences service (windows key + q, then search 'tablet preferences' or 'wacom' and you should find it)...especially if you can go to the panel that lets you try out pen pressure settings (the tiny scribble pad, not sure if wacom has that) and leave it open, that might work.
Often tablets have issues with dual monitors, so if you're using two monitors that could be another reason why.
