How much does a concept artist make? (for school)

The idea for school is like this:
I got a company, that is offering new artists help with finding in jobs, (I got employees that are finding them) But because I find them these good paying gigs for them i take like a montly % of their salarey. The contract is for a year.
The thing is, how much can I take from them artists?
How much are they paying artists?
You may add any other valueable informtion

    Thanks.

I don't think any artist will want you taking their salary.. I wouldn't want to pay someone a % of my salary for however long, because they foudn me a job.. I'd keep looking on my own.

Sounds like an agency to me.
The rate and percent you are looking for completely depend on the type of artwork/market demand/amount of monthly work the artist can accomplish.
For instance in Los Angeles I know a few storyboard guys that agents that get them work.
    Why is this good?
Well, for one, the artist doesn't spend all his/her time advertising or haggling with client and spends more time creating artwork.

    Why is this bad?
Well, some agents will not only charge you a high percent, but also could be "making" more then you'll ever know.

That is why you research your agency to death. If you can talk with other artists they represent you can learn a lot.

Artist's do and should negotiate for a more reasonable percentage.

    Phil
