brkofdon: Thank you. It's a Cachet Classic Gray 9x12"

Okay, for the first time ever! I don't have the time to reply to everyone
So I'm going to say thank you thank you thank you! To all of you for the support, the crits, the compliments and the cherries on top.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

I really haven't felt all that inspired of late... so my sketches have been kind of half ass in the last few days. However! Miss Alba inspired me a bit last night, so I did some sketches.

This first one looks more like the love child of Alba and Garner... I'll draw that scene later

And this one looks more like her... her soft features prove most challenging, so I'm going to draw more of her

Okay, that's it for now... I'll post more soon I prrooooomise!

    Peace,
    -Daniel

    Hey, man!

Been too long since I checked back!

Really enjoy your style a lot. The girl from Feb 14th looks awesome. Tech shit, indeed! Haha.

Really like your Jessica Alba portraits, huge improvement on the 2nd piece!

    Keep workin' it, dude.

demeter_luna: Yeah, Miss Alba tends to do that...

EccoXile: Thanks! Yes, blue pencils are the sheeeeit!

Profil: Gracias! Tips... uuuummm... look at them a lot? I dunno... 80% of my drawing in the last 12 years has been women It's like an addiction!!

    Pencilator: Ha ha! Thanks...

    dns2k: Thanks... here's more.

IanE: Thank you. I agree... Alba 2 is much better.

Soul:Child: ... um... riiiiiight. Nah, I was inspired when I drew her, so yeah, I wish I could draw like that when I'm uninspired too

Strang: They answer to my every beck and call!!! Noooo, no they don't. Sheeeeit. Thanks man

JeffZNY: LOL!! That was awesome. The comic is going slowly... I'm still working on tightening up the story more... so yeah. All in good time ;p
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, here are a couple random girls from today.

This one was me just taking bits and pieces from previous ones and doing something with them... cause I was bored.

And this was me having fun with line drawing since I haven't done one of these in a while... There's a reason she's not wearing clothes!... I just haven't thought of it yet. I really had every intention of dressing her... but I just couldn't get myself to cover up a figure like that

Okay, that's all for today... man I'm tired...

i like the portrait and the figure is well handled but the face of the figure is bothering me a bit... i think it might be because of the lip size or the chin... dunno... again anothe kool portrait going straight to my saved folder.

I think it's a combo of the lips being a liiiittle too big, and the eyes being a little too close together, cause those things are bugging me too ;p I'm just too lazy to change them. I'd rather just do a different picture

Phuzion: Great stuff. I would guess the girls has no cloaths because she just didn't have time between that point when she was just about to get in the shower and when she had to kick some intruder ass.

BTW: Are you sick of the rain yet? Thank god for some sun today eh? (I'm in Burbank)

Alexandertheduk: Well, I certainly hope it's the first one. Thanks... I think

    Jamaludin: Thank you thank you!

Jokisalo: Hhhmmm. You'll have to get in line I think. Stace is in pretty high demand I think. ;p

dns2k: Well I changed her now... but it was just the eyes that were bugging me, so you'll have to deal with those plump, juicy, soft, moist lips

panda: Arigato!! Via con juevos! Amigo!

    L. Scott Knight: Wurrrrrd. She's just badass enough to be able to kick ass in heels, WHILE she's naked. Fuckin' A. And yes, the rain is quite old. I want my 80+ degree sunshine back

character: Hey thanks! I love guestbook entries, they make me all warm and fuzzy inside. Seriously. I'm really glad you're diggin' my work, thanks man.

Majestyx: Nah, it's not just you. I love her lips... it was just the eyes, as you will see very shortly. Thanks ;p
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay! Here's the gun-totin' senorita updated. Just moved the eyes, and she looked a lot better. So yeah... no huuuuge update or anything.

actually the issue i had were with the proportions of the eye shape with the lip size. i cant complain about a girl with nice pouty lips. the eyes just seemed to lack the feeling and personality of your other works and i think it was drawing the wrong kind of attention to the face. they were to linear and did not have volume. i now like the result and i dont have any complaints

    bad ass like always.

very, very subtle difference you got there. I'm assuming you moved the eye on the left a little further over? I don't know.... but the second one does look better... did I get the changes right? hehe.....

Man, I really dig your animals! Wow. I mean, first it's an excellent exercise, and second, your sketches make very fine illustrations. So slick, yet so full of life.

I must admit that I'm curious as to what and _ugly_ girl or an _old_ person would look like if you sketched them.

But, either way, super nice. Please keep posting!

    edit:

*after reading all your sketch pages*

Damn, thanks a bunch for that "Psylocke" step-by-step action. Lovely. Just lovely!

vigostar: Ooo... he'd be a fun one to battle. Maybe I'll talk to him about starting a colab thread where we switch off each week coming up with a topic... and then we draw girls accordingly... sound good? Wurrrrrd. Thanks man ;p

IanE: Heh heh.. Killah! Thank you duuuuude!

dns2k: It's all good man. Crits are always welcome, and it's good to know what people have issues with. Thanks homez

panda: I moved them both out a little bit, but the left one was moved more. Heh heh. thanks.

Alvarez: Which image? I few of them are portraits and are as close to the pictures as I could get them... Just curious. Thanks man!

jacobsteel: I'm so glad people dig that tutorial. Also, thanks for the compliments. Those cats were a lot of fun for sure. I'm not sure how an "ugly" girl would turn out... An old person might turn out something like what I did for the Treasure Island stuff... but more or less stylized depending on my mood. ;p
    -----------------------------------------------------------

Okay, this one was weird... It wasn't going to be so rendered, but it just sort of ended up that way... so it's an odd mix of rendered and graphic that might not be working mainly because it wasn't supposed to be that. I dunno... I'll just post it anyway...

Yeah... whatever... I just work here.
Also, the weirdest part about it is that... if I had a sister... guaranteed that's what she would look like

    hey Daniel,

The first thing that I noticed is that the hands just look awesome. The face, however, looks like she got a bit too much roughe (sp? -- *red* dambit!) on, and she's kind of blotchy, sort of like, well, maybe she's not feeling too well. [edit:] and the shadows look off on the face as well - either too strong or an incorrect angle. Not sure which at this hour...

And we also now know who's been drawn those girlies for you!

    Cheers,
    ~Shane
