holy poo, too many replies than i deserve!

    bhanu-the photobucket onez?

mentler: thanks mentler! a big fan of yours of course

Nutter: ahh! shane man how are you?! cheers, i really apreciate it.

iolarnula: haahaha emo ha, yeah, i dunno i guess its something about looking at work by the pros that always makes me question how much i should be drawing

Doyle':thanks doyle, yeah i might do some studies from masters. although of course its also helpful to study from life so i analyse everything myself. ill check out your sb soon

archipelago: thanks man, good advice. yeah i know exactly how you feel too, i guess were all in the same boat

    fooxoo:thankyou very much! preciate it!

so yeah basically still trying to get used to photoshop doing something different, its all good for learning i guess.

i threw a life drawing in there too, it has a line thru the middle because i folded it to fit it in my bag, lol!

Looking very good. I can't really crit anything about ps since i've never painted myself.
But the figure could use abit more value around the pectorals =)
Above all, keep up the good work

    Hey rodrigo,
the problems fixed now and now I am enjoying the creations by your hands.I can see you are still at early stages of PS .But Only hard work suffices .SO keep the paintbrudh wet my friens. In the last life drawing the the twist on the right leg isnt visible.I think the line of lower leg should pass over the upper leg line.MAybe .But I know I cant feel the twist.
    Take care and keep posting.

min: ah thanks friend, i hope youre well you know how im doing, ill speak to you on msn soonies.
comixnut: good stuff! 401-windsor + newton smooth paper A3 size i think, hb pencil.
402- stonehedge paper cut to A4 sizer, hb pencil + white conte
405- ingres paper some dark tone, hb pencil + white conte
max- yeah long time indeed. im not doing good but i appreciate your post very much!
    Skeiff + lloorrdd- cheers mates.

hey all, i stopped drawing for a few weeks hence the lack of updates.
i started again a couple weeks back and now im at art school again im starting to do more stuff.
firstly this is just an experimental A2 size piece, kind of a wes style in there i suppose. it was done with hb pencil and conte.

this is a hand study i did a month back.

these are just shitty gestures of life drawing since i have nothing else to post. some of them are kind of under-done i guess but its the way the teachers teach so you know you cant draw in the style you want.

these are some recent gestures from the past few days, ill upload more tomorrow.

I'm sorry to hear about your previous images. If it's any consolation your first posts are still there apparently, so you can still see the transition.

You've made great progress and I am very envious of where you are with your art given your age. Heh in that light I can see how much I've slacked in the past, and am dissapointed about where a could have hopefully have been....heh anyways you are a great inspiration. Dont get discouraged, keep up the heard work!

    Hey, you're back

Well, they may be quick gestures but they convey all the form the viewer needs to see. The first pic (self-portrait) looks fantastic.

Hey man, drawing shouldnt be about killing yourself, If you have a need to take a break for a while now and then, then by all means do so... you are already miles ahead of most people, so, you know
Im taking a brake now myself actually, Ive got a friend from Australia here visiting

I actually see alot of improvements in your sketches now after your brake, if not technically then definently artisticly like with that A2 drawing and your figures.

    Keep us inspired man

Brall:thanks so much man, much appreicated. i uploaded some old stuff for the 1st page.

Spade:excellent man im glad u did start, its very good for figures.

Jarri: it really depends , some days i dont draw at all and sometimes i do i guess., a good session for me is 4 hours or so not including breaks, just 4 of solid drawing.

    iolarnula:thanks a lot as always!

    voraz:thankyou!

    bhanu:thanks, wait no longer.

    Recursive_End: thanks buddy

archipelago:thanks a lot mate! even if what you say is true, im stil light years behind carravagio check out his 19 year old work haha. i guess 19 was relatively older in that time though.

so anyways, had a rough couple of days with the death of a beloved pet. i took a photo i was really happy with of the burial, i dont know shit about photography but i dont care, i just liked the flowers against the dirt and the sun in the white ribbons.

drawings from imagination, most of em done at work.
i got a new sketchbook, its very cool ( and half the price of daler rowneys with more paper and nice paper and nice black covers) only the cover smells yuck for some reason.
    coffestains yay!
