    hi, this is my first artwork thread here


    actually i've been joined CA and just lurked around for several years,


    now, i finally decide to take my first step with encouragement for myself


    well, my native language is chinese, and my english is still not good enough, so if there is any misunderstanding for translation, correct me and don't mind plz

    Your first drawing really looks like traditional, the rendering is amazing. I also like your birdman concept and the bold, broad strokes you used for the ghost catcher.

    Could you please tell which poses from posemaniacs you used for the heads in post #3. It seems like a great exercise for drawing the head from any angle.
    Anything unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.

    this is my way to use this chart to practice head drawing:


    trace but not only trace the outline by layer , to memorize the rhythm of lines


    for example, i used to get trouble for drawing about the angles below

    Totally agree with Tiggeraz here, the head charts look great and make me want to do the same. I also really like the environment image, as well as the painting techniques employed in general.
