    The only ska I think is decent is The Specials, Theyre quite exceptional though.

    dont know if madness are really ska or two tone? but either way they are an institution!!!!

    I've never been a huge ska fan, but i've always been particularly fond of Operation Ivy.

    hepcat, specials, desmond dekker/toots and the maytals, the slackers (who are touring, and are great), pietasters... just a few I like off the top of my head. good ska is great music, bad ska is horrid.

    Well then, I assume you have this?

    I saw the Specials on their last US tour. Amazing, amazing show. I was into the NYC ska scene in the early/mid 80's, bands like the Toasters, the Boilers, Urban Blight, and City Beat.

    Now I feel like a creaky old man .
