    Yo Jens!

Nice stuff. those SPs are pertty cool would be nice to see some i diffrent angles though. It seems as you have some trouble with doing heads in other than front and profile view. The further half of the face is often in a diffrent angle than the nearest half (hmm don't know if this makes sence, me have bad english, can't really explain well what I mean )

Great thread you've got here Jens. That blue sp is my favorite so far but you've got a good handle on the ol' hatch and smudge. Statues are great study and if you keep working with that brown paper you'll really get a grip on value.

Nice work man, keeps em' coming

Nice work man! Lots of improvement. Of course, the lifedrawing is the best stuff, especially your sp's, really A+ work. Your characters from imagination look good, with nice forms, but their poses and anatomy are a little stiff. I think you should maybe try to do some gesture drawings of people in really active poses like running and jumping.

Nice update! I really like your rendering style..nice and clean!
About your hands (and I know your workin' on it ) they're nice, but some of them seem a little flat... and like you pointed out yourself, static. I'm no hands-guru-master guy myself, though, so as I said; they look good! Just keep 'em coming!

the bottom left girl looks really sharp. are you drawing yourself alot, or do the guys you draw out of your head just look like you by default? all those SPs...hehe. great work man, enjoying the sketches.

Hey Jens, you dropped off IRC before I could mention anything. Just wanted to say that the lines of the boobs are too visible. Your characters are wearing clothes, so you wouldn't see the outlines of the breasts. ;-)

    Hey Jens,

I really like the animals you post in here--the bear, the fish, the bird-thing, etc.
I especially like the duck--it's really cute!

Nice paint, too, on the girl with the red dress.
I also noticed you seem to put your own face in a lot of your characters, as Jetpack said.

Good job on the hands. The thing I think you need to work on (I think you said this yourself) is getting the head and the body to work together. The heads usually seem too big. It's hard--something I often struggle with myself.

    keep it up--I'll check back
    emily

Nice work. I could tell immediately from the first few posts how much you like drawing hands. The attention you put into them shows. You do lots of nice faces. Cool SP's. Your bodies still need some work, but you're moving in the right direction.

Wow, that creature is pretty wicked. very Impressive. It looks like a cross between a human and some sort of dinosaur. I just found your thread, and looke dthrough all the images. Way up at the top, I love the guy with the fish stucck to his arm, it's great.
