Thx faust. Gonna update as soon as cow 100 is over. But until then I cant really update anything cause its shhhh...top secret. 30 more critters to go
Ahahahah Here is a small update while I take a break. 15 more creatures to go wooo!! The first is just a mess around. The second set is from the Drawing on the Right side of the brain book. Do 3 line drawings of drawings upside down. I have known about this turn a drawing upside down before to change to right brainess...but its still fun to do. The 3 is einstein from a photograph. The last are me getting the idea to flip everyone off via trailing my hand along the scanner...bahaha. First one is a finger balls version...the second is the real deal yo!!..
my nov 1st self portrait day portrait thingy portrait ahaha
Took a photo with my camera and then used that for ref as there are no mirrors in my comp room. About an hour and 45 mins...

ok first up we have one of several portrait processeeees that I am going to be doing. Going to give myself 30 days to do like 10-15 portraits :o So Please if stop by crack the whip over in the corner if I am slacking.
Next up we have the complete version of my cow 100 entry. What an insane amount of creatures for this thing. Amazing turn out for all.
After are the individual cows in a higher res to show you how sucky they look at high res hehe.
painting 100 creatures period is a feat worthy of praise, and they look badass small. fucking awesome!
now i wanna see you do a black and white study of a cast or something..spend like 15 hours on it until it looks like reality, Bargue style!!
Roar! Nice critters, I agree, they make nice pixelart!
ok ripped some more into this one a few minutes before bed time.
need to do like 10-15 more of these before christmas
i would do the portrait in just 2 values at first, one light and one dark instead of a bunch of middle tones. if it doesn't work in 2 values, it's not gonna work in 3, 4 , 5, or 10
i found a list of ARC approved schools..closest one to you looks to be in TN
Hey Os....I did these before you replied to my previous postzorz....still working on the portrait.
worked on it about an hour and a half and then said..."hmmm stupid ass flip it horizontally to see whats fucked up...so I did and then made minimal changes as my brain exploded.
put some light values in there and bring out the form. also, post the reference pic so i can see what your workin from!
it's lookin pretty good! it's a tough photo to work from, lots of subtlety. need some color though
yeah....i didnt exactly set this up for light ahaha...so i have to kind of bring out a little bit more light after doing the monochromatic portion. Then the COLORRRRRR!!! weeeeee.
finally got around to getting some color on the piece...any suggestions much obliged. Obviously not even close to done yet.
long time no update mainly because i have been working on my lms entry....and the deadline keeps getting extended :o soooo trying to make it my best ever!
So here are some stuff sketchbook wise from thanksgiving up through recent.
Ok bitches...finally I can post something since going into the top secret lairs of the world! First up is my ImagineFX art class thing that I did with Henning Ludvigson. It fookin rawks. Of course to get the actual tutorial you need to buy the mag. This is just how my image turned out after he donkey punched me with some crayons.
And the final result...
Next up will be my LSM 3 entry. I will also have a process flash file to show you all how I did it
hey man, really nice work you have there, a lot of dedication. how long have you been drawing?
I consider it a challenge before the whole human race, and I ain't gonna lose.
came out awesome!
lalo: Ive been drawing a loonnnnnnnggggg time. But actually devoting my time to it intensely for about 3-4 years...got about 10 more to go too
