Keep your dream alive...feed it daily!
Been meaning to post images here and start up the daily, but life = busy and I need every waking moment I can get to sketch if possible. So this evening I created a new sketch entirely based on colors and just forms. Tomorrow, when the brain is right and the mood is light...I shall add more to the delight.
/me cracks the bottle on the thread wall to officially open the dumpster of doom!

This stuff is mostly from my college years (many moons ago, and seas far far away). I had done my college thesis on H.R. Gigers style of artwork...hence why you can see an organic/mechanized style to them. I really wish that I had worked harder on them...as I now realize that time is of the essence and your mentality going into something is as important as success itself. *sigh* But alas c'est la vie and here we are now and me winning the one legged ass kicking contest...can you guess whose ass I am kicking ? :o
Some stuff in here is new as well, as new as a month ago. I have not scanned in my newest newest stuff as life tends to grab me by both arms and pull me in a direction...

and here we are finally to my newest sketch book that I am currently filling with my ramblings. Here and there you can see some Galaxy Rangers concepts...if you can even recognize them at all. But mostly I am studying the figure before I go into perspective, lights and darks, etc.
Oh and of course the en plein air watercolor I would like to title "When en plein air goes BAD!!"

Wow....what a slacker I have been! Well I have truly decided to not stick with that anymore. Its time to motivate myself to get back into what I love dearly....drawing. So without further adieu I give you some of the sketches I have kept in the depths for the last couple of months. Time to daily....
I have been really getting into colors lately...even if they come out aweful. Bought a lot of books to help me with my drawing skills and artwork in general...I am sure that it will pay off in the long run and now lets continue...

The first one I am just starting and perhaps it will go into the finished section once I have the line art cleaned up and fixed the figure a bit.
This second one started from the little squid like creature up top cause I was stumped as to what to draw and it evolved over a couple of days...

new one for the day...had some more but didnt fill up the page. For some reason I have always had a fascination with drawing women. I think they are pretty damn hard to draw. Men you just slap on some muscles and a mean stare and you got a man
