Mind saying where you found it?

    Wrong forum by the way.

    Cool

Yeah, I've got 6 or 7 of them for $0... but it would be nice to have decent original copies. $50 sounds like a good price for one of his books in good condition.

Why is this the wrong forum, btw? It's the lounge - anything goes here.

    Or did I miss something.

oh man i havent been back for awhile...uh busy. got it at abraham books. its at the save loomis website. usually they go for about 80 in fair condition i think i just got lucky. BTW i know i sounded....stuck up...arrogant maybe, bah lol who am i kidding i was being self dilluted and it was unneccessary. And i have many books in my library for drawing, BUT I need to utilize them more Im one of those people who know alot about how to do something but doesnt know actually "how to do it". Anyways, no worries i deffinetly wont let the books rot where they are ill be posting stuff when im ready. Anyways later.

Oh man I tried to find these for cheap. This guy really got a good deal. Most go on ebay from 150 - 200 for regular copies slightly tarnished to 600 - 700 bucks for the collectors editions. The first edition was out in 1947 so yeah they are rare and out of print. They are an amazing read, I downloaded the pdfs and the htmls of them. I would love to get my hands on one of these .
    Check out these prices

Loomis would roll in his grave if he saw the price of his books, and how barely any artist can get his/her hands on the original since all these damn greedy book collectors are selling them for profit. Shame on them.

MuffinMan I didn't even know who Loomis was until I found conceptart.org, and my buddy Jetpack telling me more about his style. Great read btw, you should download some of his pdf.

I found my 1973 printing edition at a local used book store for $10. Dust jacket is torn, but hte book itself is in excellent shape. Scout out the mom-and-pop places, they're usually full of treasure.
