    He did it all for the cookie

    Inspired by Nate Van Dyke's portrait of Bert the Butcher (http://www.N8vandyke.com/sketchbook/...he_Butcher.htm), and Intern's thread from yesterday (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=30880). I couldn't resist:

    nice , loved the cookie monster when i was young, evil rascal that he was, the pose is nice but the hand holding the back of the saw could use some defining perhaps show a thumb etc. the background takes from the character, have a plain bg using a more muted tone would be better. the clash is off-putting .

    still love the concept,
