    inking

    hey everyone, i just wanted to ask a question, what do you guys use to ink your art work? I'm starting to use Pigma Micron 02 pens, but they arent cutting it. thanks.... DM45

    umm as opposed to what are they not cutting it? and any way what are you doing, tech work?

    I swear by my pigma Micron 01, so don't ask me. For finishing, I'll add weight with a 03 and cap off all the heavy inking with a pigma brush pen.

    you could always go with the classic Crowtip pen, and a bottle of liquid ink. I have used Steadler pens for some time, but have found that the nib and ink approach works better for me. It seems less mechanical in many ways as I am not always having to change pens. Or you could also try and use a small paintbrush, one that you would use for water colours.
