Your last few sketches show progress for sure, I think you need to practice showing more value,

drawing a sphere and shade it in using all values, from white to black. the light source isn't completely important, what is important that you push your conforbility with values and tones.

    keep it up profil!

I call this my sick update because I'm sick:

"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

EDIT: they may look a bit like hurricanes pictures, I`m trying out that technique

    hhahaha, profil, funny stuff

great job, good that you analyze yourself, but you need to go darker/lighter in all your pics.. need to push the value of the tones harder...take a mirror, sit infront of the window (during the day) and rotate your head, try to see the dark parts versus the light parts..

and i tried a overpaint on one of your sketches, i did it really fast so i hope you understand what im trying to say with it... think of the face like planes (as i told you in stockholm, but i guess a pic explains it better)
i kept your anatomi structure as a base, cus maybe you understand it better if i do

    here it is!
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

good luck and dont stop drawing man!

Try drawing with your whole arm instead of moving just your wrist. It will give your lines more confidence and make them look less sketchy. (I know, i have the same problem myself.)

oh you can try some of the feng exersizes to get your muscles to listen to you when you want to make a streight line and elipse/circle .. jsut make soem dots on a page and go form one to the next in a solid stright line then try the same thing makeing circles and curves .... sinc eyou jsut started your body is probly not used to movieng and controling your limbs in this way so you will build up a physical memory that way .then i suggest movien on toe th esuggesteion form the fella above .. do basic shapes circle triangle square ... then go to cube sphere piramid cilinder .... then head on to waht davi suggested and render them with full values .. also look up the words and such and get as comfortable with the terms as you possably can <this will help alot when people make suggestions and your try to learn form tuts >the betty edwards book will really get you firmiliar with all the tearms and various tecniques .another book thats great for beginers for quick refrence and a verry simple intro to construction is how to draw the marvel way .. its not the best but i think since it has verry limited and simple format its verry user frendly <not over whenlming at all and a bit fun too >eventualy <and it wont take too long > you will start seeing things as their basic shapes and you will be able to make out diffrent surfaces of those shapes and it will be verry easy to apply light <and lack of light > to them

keep going main thing is do it eveyr dya no matter waht evne if you little boged down with school and such kik out a couple shapes and such and above all have fun with it
<i thin you have a good start and are doing well mate keep going >

    damn photobucket ><
    oh well heres 2
fast ref I didnt feel like drawin today:
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

    planes thingie:
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

I got tips now of learning the body anatomy first and such and same time.
I think I will do it at the same time.
and I gotta learn the basic shapes and start to render them before I render faces and learn the lines of the face first.

body study (loomis and another site, going to print out loomis till tomorrow)
(Im glad that everyone said that I should start with learning the body anatomy, because I thought it was just boring to draw just heads, so I didnt feel like drawin, but now I do, just a shame that that was my last paper of my sketchbook, going to stockholm tomorrow to buy a new one)
