good studies from ref, better than mine , i think .
In fact stop to think :" heh i want to draw more , " just take your pencil or any medium you want and put this on a paper sheet ..during 5 minutes , if you are in good day , your 5 minutes will be overcome for long time .
    keep posting !

    Awesome, thank you guys.

I haven't really had the great motivation I felt I needed (maybe that's just bullshit though) but I think I set some goals for me now. I want to focus on being able to draw anatomy and clothes. I mean, really say it to myself so I make it to something that I should strive for. And trying new things, like this house. It's a WIP. I got a bit tedious but it was fun.
"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

    edit: a bit big.

Looks reaaall good man - the colours are very life like.
Id watch out for straight edges though, try usingthe straight line tool in PS but loosen em up a little bit. The drainpipe shadow is a little tooo wavy.

    Seriosuly, i really like this.

"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

"Eh, well.... I know how to look good...."

Seems like you're heading in a good direction here! Lines are more confident, and the anatomy is tightening up! Keep rockin' the studies!

    Thanks. I really apreciate it.

I have started to work out, in a gym and combine that with loads of schoolwork and you have a tired me. But I will stop doodling and spend time on shit.

These are all ref, I think. Some supersloopy, some better (like the girl face on the lower right in a drawing, but the scanner cut away some of her. My scanner sucks).

    Thanks people.
Here's some new stuff. Please criticize what I do wrong. I know that there are a lot of errors in these images (one of the biggest is the overrendering of the girl) but I won't state them as you might enlighten me on something I didn't think of. I do have a broader face to be honest.

    Music tip:
Ray LaMontagne - Till the sun turns black
Good lyrics, a good soft raspy voice. Nice music for chilling.

I should add that these were done from pictures. Computer/magazine.

Little wonkiness going on, but hell you've improved! The ninja-veiled dude is rockin'! About the msn-stuff... the eyes... the reason they look a little weird is that you outline them very heavily, and they lack shading... remember that they are spherical underneath the lid

Keep 'em coming! You're improving a lot!

    dCept: yeap thanks
shylone: thanks, and yeah, I really do need to do more studies. And draw more...

Here's something new. I don't have much time to draw right now, but christmas is coming up soon and my birthday too! So hopefully, I'll have some time to draw during the break

Anyway, I need to spend more time on my drawings, so I tried it here, and woala, it shows.

Btw, the drawings done in the block (like the last one) is A5, so they are quite small.

very nice man, I totally dig this last girl. the rednering on the nose is quite fantabolus. I'm guessing the ear is a bit to far to the left, but placment of nose, eyes and mouth is great!
Now do 20 more of these !

Hey Profil: Nice sketchbook , but , I must be hounest with ya, I believe that
you are pretty lazy.. its been a few years since you started this sketchbook, and in these 2.5 years , you have posted a very minimum of pictures..
Just a side note man, I belive you could have progressed even more
if you drawed more of course, although ,your progress is still impressive!
very impressive, so nice work !
on the last once, the places of the features looks alittle off, the forehead/eye areas looks wierd, and the placement of the eyes looks alittle of
in most of these pictures, again, impressive improvement on the faces anyways!

just keep it up, but please post/draw more man! you have potential!

~Dile

Edit*
I thought your low-rateing is..well.. stupid, or well, I cant get any words, but a high exaggeration of the word stupid..
So I gave you 5, just trying to be fair thats it.. the 3.05 was just stupid...

I just want to answer this.
You are very correct. I'm suprised no one had said anything before, (well, maybe they have, but not that I remember) about that. Maybe not, it's my responsibility. But when I see your progress, I'm so fucking jealous of you and angry at myself for not drawing more. I have to stop being lazy, you are right.
The "weird" (not really) thing is that I go to a natural science school (2:nd year) and it's really fucking tough, so I don't have that much sparetime, and the little sparetime I have is often used for listening to music, chatting, watching tv etc.
I have to stop being lazy.

Sorry for this little disturbance in this book, but I had to get it out. (again...)

    Yo Pixel. What up dawg...haha.

Your definitely going in the right direction with those digi paints. The studies are great. I remember when you first started this. Your lines were scratchy as hell, looked like crap. The lines are tightening up now, lookin good. Just watch your proportions dude, seems your havin a prob with that. Keep drawing, keep the confident lines coming, the more you dont care the better your lines will be...what i mean by that is well "be confident' if you have done life drawing when you look at the model you have no time to really think so you have to really look at it fast and then put down the line. That first line is usually always your best and (most confident)

    Keep posting,

    see ya dude.
