o yea, i shouldve mentioned i know awn already

    but thanks!

the problem with it is, who doesnt know about it? so far the only paying gig i got off of there was very low budget. the competition's on the tough side for my tastes, but i check there almost hourly anyway. o and like usual, most postings are over 3D jobs. and lots are also indian ones, which would require some moving..

honestly from looking at your work, you should learn 3d if you want a full time job because you are pretty far off as far as skill to get hired full time as 2d as their are only around 500 full time gigs for that so the competition is pretty tough, unless your trying to do some other form of 2d besides concept art?

    u think so?!

500? ouch. do u strictly mean 2d concept gigs? 500..that would be insane though. im not andrew animation for nothing--im trying to get any kind of full time job in animation, im just here at conceptart.org cuz it happens to have a nice job-search forum, the best ive found so far for our field, really. id prefer 2d, sure, but im learning 3d right now in 'an intensive 12 week project based course' in nyc, as i realize the demand of 3d nowadays. how much does it suck though since i came into this field for 2d.. aye, our ways are past.

id mainly like to do concept art anyway, and also character design, because i dont like doing things over and over again (animation....) as well as backgrounds.

wow, i could go on and on about myself

the stuff in my portfolio is extremely weak compared to what i kno i can do.. right now im illustrating a childrens' book for a company based in belgium and getting 3d projects out of the way for my course, but then i want to make my site more oriented towards this huge epic story i have in mind and plan to produce someday. thats my lifelong dream, like wanting to win a gold medal or, u kno, winning the lottery. so yea, i plan to spend the next 2 or 67 years promoting my idea whilst hopefully going to work each day, even if its in 3d as it will probably be.

    ....oops
