    Stratosphere Girl

    yesterday i've saw the trailer , and i think it looks very intressting

    Looks low budget, but really pretty interesting nonetheless. Unfortunately, it looks like the kind of movie that will never see the light of day in the US until it does the rounds in film festivals, and begins to garner support from critics. That whole process could take years. Unless it already is an american indy movie, in which case, I might see it at my local indy theatre.

    As the subject matter of the movie seems a little pedestrian however. A 'girl next door' type of girl, who happens to draw comics (and somehow manages to be that hot despite nerdy profession) gets entangled in a seedy underworld of sex and violence, but is the only one who can solve the crime given her apparent supernatural ability to draw events that she hasn't personally seen. This had to have been done before? I mean the whole psychic-drawing thing.

    Anyway, I do think that it's gonna be entertaining, so I might go see it simply for that.
