Nice start, at least your dedicated to getting better, and that's good. I see some pieces that are fast drawings while others you actually took some time to render. Keep up with your drawings and you'll progress in no time.

Soja- keep them coming, already seeing progress. Think about putting up on your walls the drawings that you like ( xerox copies maybe?) so that you remember them and can move on from there. also copies of where you trying to take your drawings artists you like and things that you are trying to learn, just by seeing them all the time you'll start to pick up on the information.

Yes Andrews stuff is really amazing!! And he's drawing all of his stuff
in such a short time it's unbelievable.
They way of Marko's drawing way is so sick too.
The WS in Berlin motivated me so much.
Here is one Sketch i did today.
And it was the first time i really tried to finish one picture in painter.
    It's a self portrait.
But I'm not really that ugly =)

    Soja,

Hey there! I see a reall improvement happening in your sketchbook. Especially when you hit the colored pieces. The red face guy is really going in a solid direction, I'd love to see you explore more like that. The painted face was a real leap for ya too!

I really enjoy the monster and character designs...looks like we are having the same nightmares!

Keep up the great work and I'll check back in for more updates.

    Cheers!~~~JadeDragon

even there wasn't anytime to day.

@SOK: I hope that! I'm trying to get lines right. But for real I dont know when the lines are right. I have the feeling that I cant get them right.
I dont feel that. It's so difficult.

@JadeDragon: Thanx for ur post!! I saw ur works!! They are amazing!!!
That's very cool that u check my stuff!! But i think ur nightmares are more
frightening than mine =)! I hope I can make better work so that u come back to my thread!!!

Here are two pics i did today:
One self portrait with Painter and one pic with Pentel Pens:

Soja- Nice portrait, It looks like your avoiding ears, don't, not just in this one but in some of your other drawings as well. Anything your having trouble with work on it. break it down, look to see how other people draw them to get clues.Draw them from all different angles and then draw them from your head. Keep it up.

Cool dude, just want to catch you on it early cause if you stick with it your going to have to deal with it sooner or later, It's like people who can't draw hands always sticking them in pockets. I like the scene on the last post, love to see you create a story with your pieces so that they have enviroments that they live in as well as characters. Keep it up.

wow, there's some rapid progress in here! Do your best to maintain this pace without burning yourself out.

I don't have any crits since you seem to be finding and correcting your shortcomings on your own. One suggestion that stems from your earlier pages is to make sure you start your drawings with your whole arm to keep the gestures loose and easy.

Soja- the last self portrait is looking better drawing wise, atleast you put in the ear this time, I don't expect them to be perfect just make sure you don't avoid them and spend some time looking at how they are put together. That goes for anything your working on. Also having examples of work you aspire to emulate or you like their approach around you as you work, self portraits for example, find some that you like. Look at androids daily self portrait for ideas, and Gaboartpage for ideas about how to work your sketchbook, how to get a methodology. Keep at it Bro.

Maybe 16 - 20 characters not sure, my mind found other shapes that can be kinda like characters but hard to say, this is a good practice for you, nice to see you keeping your daily stuff, cept like me where once every full moon I'll have something...lol, but good job man, keep doing your thing, and you'll see rewards in it.
