Gauge- Thanks, yeah I'm still kinda adjusting to Baltimore, when you say BadAss do you mean tough?

shyamshriram- Not much of a process my friend but I'm glad you like it.

crob21- Thanks bro, still got such a long way to go but that's what keeps it interesting.

One more little color piece, got a ways to go on this one but I'm trying to stay regular with this thing.

hiya dude, I haven't been checking the sketchbooks forever, and I just dropped in here today. You've been busy! Lots of great new stuff -- I like those portraits you've been doing. It was good seeing you in DC last month. Hope we cross paths again!

yeah bad ass was the wrong phrase. I meant dangerous as shit. That last drawing looks too messy and all over the place, working on controlling your values more. When you shade, try to use strokes that follow the form of the subject and try not to smudge randomly, which is what it looks like you're doing. Keep up the good work man.

Hey thanks for the feedback guys

runelore- Heh, Wow, that's a blast from the past. Hopefully I'll come up with something in the future that you like just as well. How's digi-pen treating you? I'm seeing some pretty big improvement in your book. I see your a Seattle person,You should stop in to Art not terminal in Seattle for some life drawing sometimes, and if you do say hi to everyone for me. There's are a lot of people from the game industry that hang out there.

Guage- Thanks for the critique bro, yeah there are some pretty scary parts of Baltimore. Don't think I was having as much problems with the last one as you did but it did have some issues. The technique is actually just the opposite of what you were thinking, you pull the lights out of the piece by erasing once you have your darks laid in, so if anything was random it was the lights. Thanks for calling me on my shit though.

Mike- Much appreciated, it's super cool to have one of the big guns dropping in, I'll try to be worthy.

I worked on this one some more before I had to turn it in so here's a final update, man, I've got so far to go.

    Hey,

Those oils are promising . Nice cityscapes ! Don't make them too soft tough. And think of your saturation. Last one is the best I think.
