    Ringling

    hey, i know theres a room for school threads but nobodys ever in there, so i thought id post here. im interested in going to ringling, but i have my GED, do i have a chance if i just turn in a kick ass portfolio? any pointers or tips or whatever would be helpful, thanks.

    nobody probably replied because it has been answered before.

    the answer is yes. It is NOT that hard to get accepted most places. As many before me have said, and it's sad but true. They want (need) your money to stay in business. There are plenty of people here who can't draw well at all. They probably had good high school grades though. Whatever you do, wherever you go, work your ass off and use the facilities to the max. You are paying for them.

    Ringling or no it's not the end of the world. But yes, you can probably get accepted. (though CA major is a bit harder than the others)

    dont sweat it. I never finished high school either.

    ringling glady accepted my cash. granted i did almost four years of college prior to transferring.

    It is all about the portfolio

    thanks youse guys, very helpful and encouraging, i know i can draw, im just worried about not turning in the KIND of work theyre looking for. my cousin works for an airline, so in gonna fly out there for a counseling appt. thanks again.
