anyone else think Service Pak 2 is screwd?
I installed sp2 for xp last week, and now I am about a week behind in my work because my machine blue screens daily.
Anyone else on a "kick windows as hard as they can" mood like me?

Upgrade your driver, your application, check if you don't have any virus. It is probably something alike... no problem with sp2 here.

it's legal enough to be ignored by the ms help.
I didn't get any notice on preperation, but I probably didn't pay any attention, so, i guess the A.D.D. bandit strikes again.
I have updated some drivers, but I will keep going thru and finding more. hard to keep up with work with the blue screen of love wanting to show me its ugly mug all the day long.i actually got paid to create a 3d model of human poo once. well actualy, i am on my (t)3rd (lol, i kill myself...) iteration, so like i got paid 3x. get the cd version, it happens to be different ot the one they first roled out on the web, its on the xp magazine in the Uk, mostly it has the few fixes in the pack ready to go. i have not installed it yet , my advice get a secure firewall , try sygates free one , and then wait for 2 months to let microsoft iron out the flaws , then back up every thing to CD, dat tape, secure second drive, wahtever you use, then install the pack, also sytem restore while not perfect is a good idea. also service pack 2 contains the latest dix 9c which fecks up some old games, a fix is on the waynothing to lose so go for it

yeah, I haven't had a problem with sp2. In fact, it made my firewall work the way I wanted it to initially, so no compaints here... but my laptop bluescreened a while back, and then wouldn't even let me reformat!! but that's a random side note... ;p
