ok, so here i am, cruising around CA and then i thought, hey! theres no panorama thread! so here we go
post all your pans, but post them as links, cos they can be pretty massive. also, try to keep them a reasonable size, for example, altho these are really wide, i limited them vertically to 480 pixels
anyway, everyone feel free to post. c&c welcome
ok, one at my shack last summer;
aaaand one on the block of land next door;
ooh, and i just found this one, deep creek in about march;
keep it real kidies, and i'd love to see some of your pans too

haha...I like it man! every time I try this there is a difference between the two pictures that won't match up, Like the ripples in the first one. I just can't ever splice it right. But nice work man! Keep It Up!
The Soundtrack to the Revolution
come on ppl, 51 views and im the only one to have panoramas?
come on, post 'em
i only got one and it`s a stitched up one, doesn`t look too clever dude.....
but yours are great, the last is best for me, pity that doesn`t get any bigger.....
nah, it gets bigger, its just that photobucket is a bit of a poo so it has to be dodgy quality sorry. here it is anyway...
tanks for that but when i clicked it it came back at me with an error.....
funny... worked fine for me
anyone else have a problem with it?
I have one too
My first "panorama" Well, it works the other way round, than normal panoramas.. could you still call it panorama? Well, I don't care, I'll call it that way
These shots (3 alltogether) were taken in Italy 2 weeks ago.
I'm practising on others, but it takes time
Hope you like it.
( I think an edit would be appropriate.)

andres_pad: tis ok dude...it worked after all.....maybe i was doing something funny...lol...anyway got it
nice one man, i think its still called a pan, just a verticle one.
are Alivia and i tho only ones out there doing these? come on ppl add your too...
A friend of mine, called Jorge Proaño made this image. He only sent me this small version. As you can see, he likes mountains alot. These are some mountains that are in my homecountry, in the Ecuadorian Andes.
First post on the forum, I have a few panorama shots.
Shot in Hungary, as I was there on vacation.
The balaton lake in Hungary
the church didn't fit on one photo
the soccer stadium of Ajax Amsterdam, there is this weird wobble in the roof... still need to fix that some day.
This was took with a disposable camera then cropped, so I'm not totally sure it counts. I'm not really sure what mountains those are but I think they are Utah's Blue Mountains.
these are great guys.
i should be going to my girlfriends new farm tomorrow, and i'll take some pics this time. its awesome up there (set kinda in the hills). lots of pan opportunities.
keep it up
There's some great images up there!
I've got some panorama pics but I don't have any space to put them up to so I can display them to you here. Any ideas? I tried flickr (which I use), but they reduce the image size - so it doesn't really work. This is the same for my photoblog. Photos are reduced to a max width of 462 - which isn't really appropriate for showing the full effect of a panorama.

maybe you should open an account in photobucket.com ? I hosted mine there. And also you should know how to use your graphics programs compression system, to get the best photo size for less kb weight. Do you use Photoshop? If yes, then I suggest you to use the "Save for Web" option a lot. It is really a life saver.
photobucket ( http://img29.photobucket.com/albums/v87/andres_pad/ ) doesnt have a physical image restriction, it just limits images that are limited to a maximum of 250KB. like GriNGoLoCo said, use photoshop if u can
Here is an old one I did 2 years ago. It's in a french ski resort.
the harbour is awesome, but even better is the simply amazing ski resort. i love that! nice wokr guys. keep posting more
here is a link to some cool tools for combining photos to make a panorama.
this guy makes some really huge images. this program allows you to correct for the parallax error when trying to put these pics together. i am working on a huge pan right now i will post when i am done.
hope this is of some use
Here is the pan i promised. its not as big as i had planed because my computer couldnt handle the file size. It was over 20 megs. I was trying to create a equivilent to a 60 megapixle image but was only able to pull of about a 40. I didnt crop the pan down so you could see the way the individual shots had to be warped to get a proper assembly. this was my first try using this program and i was very happy with the results. try and find the seams!

Here's a couple of my Panorama shots. The first is the city of Florence shot in 2002. The second is Tokyo near the Imperial Palace shot in March2004.
I really like you're second one Chingwa, it's very peaceful looking.
We haven't started panorama's yet in our class and I'm sorry I haven't posted any pictures I haven't gotten a Scanner yet and I don't know when exactly I'll get one, (money's tight).
one i did at school while waiting for the bus the other day.
i finished school forever last week, and have been in and out
to get info for exams. took this as sorta a momento.
photobucket killed the quility tho, sorry.
thought i`d better get this up there, even though it isn`t quite in the same league as some of these fantastic pan`s here....
my home town....
just a quikie from last weekend, some hills near my girlfriends horse comp that we were at.
Here's a related topic -- It's a tutorial I put together on "stitching" images into animated panoramic backgrounds -- without any actual stitching involved
It's good for 3D artists.
Toma - that ski resort pic is insane!
Here's one i took comin into town at about 6am after drivin 20 hours straight
Scramble- Thats absolutely amazing. The colors are so cool, I'm impressed.
Good work everybody!
