Jon Foster art in National Geographic

    holy shit Jon!!!!!!!

I was browsing through the new issue of NG and I saw an article that clearly was a digital painting, and as i looked at it i thought to myself, this looks JUST like foster's work. I peered at the lower corner only to see "art by Jon foster"!!! that is really badass!

The article is entitiled "lost gold" in the september issue of National Geographic for those interested.

    Btw, jon, great painting!

theres the newest one right, with all the dudes on the boat (badass piece).
did he do the one in the previous issue with the south american priest guy slitting a dudes throat to? That was hot. Awesome paintins.

glad you guys like this one. i am fond of parts of it, but there are sections that make me cringe. i wish i could go back in and fix them.

but it has not stopped me from posting it over in the dragon and slave thread if you want to see.

    thanks again

I especially liked your painting of the aztec priest preforming a human sacrifice and the previous issue.
