I love your gesture drawings, they have so much life to them! I'm also a fan of the way you utilize your values.

Thank you Mrowr! Gesture is what I like to draw most - this dynamics, energy of human body.

Gestures are excellent and your figure drawing shows such fluidity of line and there's a solidity there. Since I find that gestures are often the "hardest" (I see this in my own work and in other students I see in figure drawing sessions) I'd say that it is a great strength and triumph for you to be so strong in this area!

Keep on working and studying the color work and everything else, you're doing great!

Thank you celadon! Your comment motivates me a lot. I'll post more soon (more still life / struggling with color) and I hope you'll visit my sketchbook again and share your opinion. It's very important for me.

Good stuff here! Those last still life studies are really nice, lovely colour schemes throughout. I really like your sketches of the people at the bus stop too, as other people have noted you have a good grasp of gesture. Main critique would be make sure you apply the things you are learning from the studies into the pieces from the imagination. For example you have some lovely figure drawing and torso studies, but the learning from these does not seem carried thru to the four colour pieces in post 17. Remember its ok to use reference when working from the imagination, particularly for things like anatomy. You're doing great tho - keep mixing it up between the studies and the imaginative pieces and you will be on to a good thing!
