    Inspired (April 11th)

    Hey,

    since I just came back from the Berlin workshop, I thought it was about time to post some sketches and give proof of how much it inspired me. Especially Andrew's getting-pissed-and-managing-to-be-creative-the-next-morning-anyway-approach has really opened my eyes!! Thanks for that man.

    So here are a couple of the sketches I did yesterday evening and today:

    Don't believe that I can keep that daily rate tho

    hope you like it

    cheers.t

    Thanks guys, your words are very much appreciated and motivating!! Glad you like it.

    Hopefully I can update some more pics tonight!

    @keepiru:
    I'll definitely finish one or two of them... tho still don't know which ones

    @BE:
    Glad I can pass something from my workshop inspiration on

    @cartoonfox:
    Yeah had fun driving... or should I say fun trying to stay awake with 3 guys around me having their sweetest dreams and sleeping almost through the whole drive. Took me 6 hours to finally get home But it was definitely worth staying a little longer than intended the last evening cool too see so much of your stuff here in the forum.. though I recognized most of it from your »real life« sketchbook waiting for more.

    cheers.t

    p.s. just got that blue pencil and I do love it... it's so much fun drawing with.

    Good good! Head studys! Really loving the head studys of the 4 man on the right side! In that painting maybe add more skin tone variation?

    Hey

    thanks for dropping by seth and for your kind words. In which painting were you looking for more skin tone variations? The last portrait was supposed to be of a guy who's pretty fucked up.. so not much skin tone there

    here's another really small update

    Those are the initial drawings for my (Uni-)WIP-comic book page

    Quick Painter sketch

    And some character studies for my (Uni-)WIP-cartoon

    I'll post more of those WIPs soon...

    cheers.t

    I'm really glad you like my work very motivating! The final acid etching (don't know about the english translation) turned out pretty nicely... I'm gonna post it as soon as it's dry and I get a hand on it (Tuesday probably).

    Coolness all around, life inks are a bit rough on the edges,
    try not to make so many strokes, strive to capture the personality
    and volumen with out taking the pen out of the page,
    inks are hard as hell so keep praticing man, and keep the inspiration UP!!
