hey icey, you really have to get a graphics tablet, painting with a mouse is such a pain in my opinion. hopefully santa is dropping something in a way of a tablet for you, this christmas?

i really like the ox- or bull-sketch, btw.

Hey there Icey. Figured I drop by your sketchbook. I've seen a very wide variety of subjects in this thread. The studies of your torso in the mirror are the most remarkable. I would suggest that you stay away from studying photographs for a long time and continue studying the world around you.

A time limit simplifies your forms, lines, and shadow shapes. Issues concerning proportions and perspective according to your vantage point become issues you are convicted to tackle.

You demonstrate a well-rounded understanding and drive. Everything in this thread shows great desire. Just use the energy that is being exerted on the drawing from photos for drawing from life. That's the best thing I would suggest for this thread.

Hope that helps. Look foward to more posts.

That's the homepage of your (future) website? Where's the text going to go? imo, it is way too much - you want to tease, tantalize and lure people in, not whallop them over the head. Who is your target audience? Fellow artists? Potential employers? If the latter, then remember that they, above all, value simplicity and ease of use. They don't want to be overwhelmed with images, they want to know where to go to view your art in a calm and rational fashion. Remember, they're business people...not artists. They don't want to hunt all over the homepage looking for a button that *might* lead them to your gallery or contact info. Unless you're trying to sell yourself as a web designer, keep it really simple and focus on making it easy for non-artists (and even low-web users) to navigate to where you want them to go. Which, naturally, is your killer art. So, have a few pics on your front page, enough to whet the appetite. Check around online and find a layout that you like and imitate it. Grids are good - grids are our friends! They make navigation that much more easy. Hope that helps.

Yes, take your head from the middle.
I think you should put the drawings to one side and the PS sketches to the other side.
Great drawing skills in general .
    Really love the portraits.

a front page must be as simple as can be!
stick with one, maximum 2 drawing styles in there
nothing should be done without a minimim project or study....
create a sign of yourown...in stead of your head
i don't understand why you put that head in there....
you invite us to see your work, and yet, your head says: "begone!...I'm sad!" or something like that....
as for the rest of the sketches....they are good, but it I see that the problems with heads [and arms and leg extremity] representations ar still prezent...
perhaps some of you will desaproove me, but if none will tell you what is good and what is wrong....what is the point?
    please excuse my poor spelling....
