it doesn't make any sense to me whatsoever but I absolutely love the inky, punk feel to it. word.

sure it makes sense.....he's reloading the clip to his pistol, after pegging buddy boy (above) in the head.

    great sense of movement

I really like the look of this. I think the guy's legs might be to high up. Still, cool piece.

Reminiscent of Yoji Shinkawa's stuff, which is definitely a compliment

Cool image! Reminiscent of Jim Lee's deathblow series:

    That was quick!
A whole bunch of replies, dead quick.
Glad you guys like the image.
Not much to say about this one, pretty straight forward hardcore dude with gun. I tend to go for gesture of an image rather than detail. Of course many artist can do both, but i find that I ruin the image when go for detail and hyper anatomical correctness.
As long as the "feel" of the image comes across I am happy. Plus I hate the look of "overworked" images.

    Anyway....

    Cheers

reminds me of Shinkawa, or more locally the work of Amish Commy. He's a bit of a liberal wackjob, but isn't that the standard on art forums.

when i saw this, i immidiatly thought of yoji shinkawa and metal gear art.
i think what is so fantastic of this art style is that it captures movement in quick strokes and vague lines, but still there are some nice details in there, look at that gun!!!!

i like how there is no outline to the light areas. the composition is fun, the bullet even breaks theu the frame, hehehe, thats cute! and the frame also reminds me of a text bubble.

my only bad crit: the bottom guy's body looks a little squished too short. (sorry for my bad english i cant think of a better word)

Love the way that the border has been broken by the bullet, nice touch.

And was the line of the bullet intentionally drawn to appear like a heartbeat going flatline. Like it.

The glasses appear a little small to me, as if his eyes are too close together.

    Love the style.
