ca.org seattle sketch group BEACH ART PARTY

    heloo!

the seattle sketch group met at alki beach in seattle on saturday, woo!

we met in the afternoon and sketched [though most of the time we built things out of sand], until we got hungry, had dinner across the street and later went to bojee's house and drewdrewdrew [thanks to all the art on the walls]. in all, it was a great time to forget about the week, get inspired, learn and to just hang out with all these neat kids.

    pics!

Ha ha - yeah, I'm the guy in the white shirt / blue hat. Although 'Rusted Nail' DOES have a nice ring to it...

I have some videos of the event - Dave's discovery of the gross ball-thing, sketching on the beach, that a-w-e-s-o-m-e apartment & the s'more fire. If anyone wants them, just email me.

And on a side note, why do they get a beach while we get lumbered with a shitty river? Lets be fair, its not as nice, especially a sewage infested one

Railboy's hat keeps his head from floating away on its tethered string.
Everyone else is doing their best to keep their heads.

That looks like it was a lot of fun. I'm a big fan of Merekat's stuff. Wish I could have been there.

ok ok for you sapphire ~

    THE PERFECT SMORE

    http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ch_aug7_20.jpg

look at the background, how much less saturated it is from the foreground.. guess cameras work like your eyes do.. [you can't see as much color because when it's dark, color is what you can't see first, then you can't see light. something about rods and cones and one being more powerful than the other?]
