Digital Art beginning
I just really begin digital art. And I'm a little bit lost, A lot of thing to learn, it's really different than traditional media!
So I looking for any advice or critique about my "work".
This 3 pieces had been done in 30 minute for the blue monster and 1 hour for the two others with Photoshop.

Hello.... you made the basic shapes, but you have some lack of refinement at the background...
About the eagle, try to give to it a more realistic appearance, thus, you can discover new features of your digital tool.

BTW, it not an eagle: it's a crow white =)

Okay. The horse's shadow direction does not match the cacti. And why have shadows on flat objects?
You're mixing up forms with cartoons. Either keep your shaping very simple (like one shade darker) or have none.

Thanks for your reply.
Why the shadow don't match? I think I make attention to that. Probably make a mistake but how correct it?
And yeah environment and character has not drawn in the same way... I must probably work aigain on the environment (...?)

They're about 45 degrees out. If you can't see it, maybe you need to revisit perspective.

Any advice to become better. I know practice practice, but I thin exist different way to practice good, you know!

I think you should work more on the Fundamentals of art.
Work on form and light, what I notice is your paintings are quite flat, they dont look like objects in space.
Some examples, the way you shaded the rocks on the first painting, it doesnt seem to follow the form so it gives an appearence of being a flat shape.
The painting of the horse with the red hat. The horse appears to have more definition than the cactus, while the cactus look like simple shapes with no shadows that describe their form.
Just my 2 cents

This section is to improve one image at a time. I'll move it to sketchbooks if there's no heed to the stickies.
