    Barbarian WIP (+3)

Just doing some character design tropes, starting off with the barbarian. Name: Screenshot 2014-08-29 14.00.10.png

Size: 295.2 KB I'm just imagining him carrying a pig away after a hard day of pillaging. Any Critique would be really appreciated.

Just a little update, been working on detailing his body and clothes, still have the head and the arrows to work on.

I am curious about your idea of carrying a pig... have you got inspired by Obelix?

The barb's looking pretty badass. One thing is the anatomy of the knees needs some attention. Not really sure whether you intended this or not, but the lower body seems slightly too small compared to the upper body (maybe the arms are too long, or the fur cape makes his traps look gigantic).

Pauloricardo: Actually in my initial sketches I'd drawn him carrying a large beer barrel. But when I actually thought about his scenerio... figured a pig was a much better fit

J.Zhang: Hmmm, Well I was hoping to make his upper body look slightly out of proportion, but perhaps I haven't got it stylized enough to actually make it seem like a fit. I'll try playing around with the legs a bit and seeing what I can do. Thanks

Just worked on the face, but I feel like I've lost what I originally liked. So will probably scrap it and have another go soon. I should probably work on portraits more.

Another update. Got the face much better this time I think, will colour, add tattoos and a background soon.
