Ermmm... what is this thing? A combat robot flower? A mini shiny tank with a snail inside? I am at lost, please, tell us what it's.

Really neat design ! I've noticed that it looks like there is some type of creature in it, Is it using it similar to how something would use a mech ? pretty neat ! You might want to try adding some lights and give it a more textured appearance to the plating ? The textured plating on the right one's metal fin looks pretty good, it might look good if you were to expand that texture on to a few plated areas. Try adding some types of logo or number decals on some parts of it ? Looseness of the wiring looks good. It may look a bit better color wise if you were to experiment with some back/frontal lighting to make the forms pop out a little more. Finally it might be a good idea to do a side view to show off the creature a bit more and get an over all feel for it's complete silhouette to communicate to the audience what it exactly is, you want to be sure that who ever is in charge knows what they are looking at and what it dose.
Oh, as another detail, maybe add some exhaust with some smoke/steam coming out for some special effects ? Not a ton but just a bit.
Very interesting concept ! It'd be really cool to see these creatures running around in this.
Great Work !

Lacks fundamentals, which is why it is so hard to read/understand. Get Norling: Perspective made easy & Robertson: How to Draw. Both of those books combined will give you the necessary toolset to execute a design like this.
