Billy's 100 Environments
I've been painting digitally for less than a year, and I'm really into environment design, so I've created this thread to post some of my works and Improvements throughout the days to come, and commit to this project.
there's no pattern to the updates, and I'll try my best to post weekly, and the entire project is not going to take longer than 3 months.
All of the pieces are painted from memory, and no images are used in the creation of the images, but I might use some references when my brain is not responding.

I just wanted to wish you success with your project, which I'm not courageous enough to even imagine starting something similar.
I really love the third one(city night scene) and how you've managed to make the sky and the lights feel so real without much heavy brushwork!
in the last one though, I feel like your darks could be replaced with a lighter color, but with a different hue!
think about how the light works when it hits the leaves and trees, and how the reflection of the blue sky is going to impact the areas which are not getting that much sunlight!
these are the things that I most think about, and are really fascinating to me!
and maybe try something vertical for a change!

Your doing a great job pushing to do 100 of these. To give a bit of a pointer: Try doing a few in black and white and put extra care into your values.
I did a really quick paintover to show you how you can make your images look less flat. If you google search for ''atmospheric perspective'' you can get plenty of ref.
