    C.O.D. Paintings

    Here's are a couple of pieces I wipped up for Gray Matter Studios Call Of Duty: United Offensive.

    This is a promotional illustration. It depicts an action scene during the Battle Of The Bulge when retreating troops were hit by "tree bursts". A ranking soldier screams for a medic. I was kinda of ment to have a little of that unrefined painted WW2 poster look



    This is a mood shot for the trench portion of the Battle Of Kursk

    Great pieces of work!

    Prefer the 1st one as it is more finished and refined. Only crit is the helmet on the guy to the left. I am not sure whether it is too big or what, it just looks a little off... just could be me i guess.

    Apart from that praises all round very very nice work.

    Also perhaps you may want to add splinters of wood from the explosion but on fire, kind of singed, think when you start a fire and pieces of paper float up in the air because of the heat and they glow... just a thought.

    Again lovely piece of work cant wait for the game too.

    I'm just curious. Has this stuff been cleared by activision yet to be posted on forums. Since the game hasn't been realesed yet.

    Ya your right... one has been published and the other is leftover unused e3 work... I assumed it would be no big deal...but in the end i guess its not my work... its da mans :-) . I'm going to take em down for now and post em up again in a month or so when its shipped.
