    Virtual Pose 3

    Sup,

I was just wondering if this book/cd combo is worth purchasing and if anyone has found it useful for studying the human figure.

    Thank you,

Glad you started this post. Im actually thinking of starting a service that offers photo real custom digital human reference. The difference between services like http://www.virtualpose.net/affiliate_store_2.htm http://poser.smithmicro.com/poser.ht...&ad=8945340372
    http://www.posemaniacs.com/
Is you send us your requests for your custom muse and we create the model for you custom lit textured or untextured in a self executing file that launches a real time window for full 360 freedom.
These models would be optional ecorche or half and half with a custom light set up of your choosing. Content would be received via down load and would range from 20-80 bucks a download depending on the custom request.

The question is would the community want something like this. that's a question i have because i have no reason to develop this if no one needs it

I really like the Virtual Pose books and site.

Robert: I think that's a solid idea worth trying. Though I doubt a price point above $20 would work. As easy to use as Poser and Daz Studio are now it might be tough to establish any market. Good luck with it though!

    What would Caravaggio do?

You guys should also check out posepace.com for some good reference material. They are basically all high res jpegs but they will include several poses per set with each pose including shots taken from a 360 degree camera orbit.
