    High-tech Architecture2

In this concept art piece, my idea is to create an architecture that is high tech and sci-fi. Then, I look to some concept art from Ryan Church, James Paick, Dylan Cole for some inspiration and other architectures that show high technology. Then I decided to paint first in black and white to show depth to the entire image, then color, and with use of some reference textures from buildings.

    Hey.

I think it's a good start. It does feel a bit too airbrushed (the building forms, distant lights & the atmospheric fog) so it could be balanced out with harder edges in the detailing on the focal points.

Compositionally it feels all the tall buildings are too evenly space out, perhaps take away the middle-right building to open up some of that sky.

    Hope this helps

This is a great start. I agree that the tall buildings are blocking too much of the sky and that they make the image look a bit too busy. I'd open some space by varying their positions a bit especially since they're all too evenly spaced. Also, that glossy reflective surface in the middle, I'm not sure if it's supposed to be water or a highway. If it's water I'd suggest adding some more blue and some landmarks that tell the viewer that it's water, like bridges, ships etc. I also think the teal lights are overdone. I'd suggest spacing them out and removing a few. Hope this helps.
