Hi everyone, please post your work below
-Post once a day in this thread. Failing to post within 24 hours results in being eliminated from the challenge meaning you will not be able to post within the thread again.
- Spend at least 30 minutes each day study and apply the study in some way. There is no limit to how long you can spend on each study as long as it is completed within 24 hours.
-The study can be done in values, lines,or color and in any medium you like.
-Once you have done your study, you need to somehow apply it, for instance:
You spend 20 minutes doing torso studies with boxes and/or muscles by copying from books / photos, then you have to at least do one torso from imagination
-When you're ready to post, go to www.100dayartchallenge.com, click submit and you'll be redirected to this challenge thread
Its open to whatever way you want to approach it, whether you want to start with the head, torso, legs arms, skeleton or even full body studies, anything goes as long as its human or animal anatomy.
Be sure to take help from books and online sources to make sure you benefit as much as possible from this challenge
If anyone is curious how it went last time, feel free to have a look at the older thread for ideas of how people previously apporached same challengehttp://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...atomy-LMS-MODE
We were 12 people who made it to day 100 in the previous anatomy challenge, let's try to beat it this time

Please bear with me as I get the hang of the application portion of the challenge. I spent around 1 hour on this, from reference, after studying Ron Lemen videos. I'm going to be using the first few days to loosen up my sense of volumes before I move on to more diagramatic anatomy, if that's ok?

I decided to do a 30 min skull study in the first image from a book called "Classical Anatomy for the Artist." The second image is the skull of a creature that I used the study reference for. Really enjoyed it! Ready for tomorrow!
I'm just working on things that I feel I need work on.. mostly connecting points between different body parts..., neck, shoulders, hips. Things that I feel I need the most practice with.
Top is from reference(3 big central ones). The other are from life during a meeting.
Second photo are two from imagination.
