Looking good keep asking the questions, how do push X(gesture, form, drama) using the fundamentals like perspective, light on form, and the why questions as well (why doesn't the image 'read' the way i want (e.g. composition).
Hope this thread never stops on growing, be very very patient, study and practice lots, never give up!
Your pencil shading is very nice, and you have a very distinct line quality, and it looks like you're making great improvements in your understanding of anatomy! Something I would suggest is lots of hand studies... It seems like you fall into the habit of giving people hands that are just a bit too small, as many do. Also, another thing I see is that in your digital studies, you seem to be very tentative in using very dark values? This is also a common mistake, where people are a little worried about going too dark, and end up making pictures that don't have strong value contrast, ending up looking a bit flatter than they intended. I'd recommend doing some more basic lighting studies with your digital art.
Very good start though! Lots of good progress, keep it up!
Good sketchbook so far. It looks like you have a solid knowledge of anatomy; I would focus on form and structure to make sure that knowledge can be shown in the best way possible. Always keep in mind the largest structures of the head, ribcage and pelvis. Everything else should more or less fit on top of or into those. Good work though.
