Question Observationl drawing problems and how to solve them

Hey guys I have a few questions.
First I would like to start with the fact that I draw seriously(I mean like really doing studies and learning techniques, so far I was just drawing every once In a while) and whenever I do studies from reference I notice a few problems.
1.I almost never get the right proportions.
2.A lot of times the perspective is wrong but most of the times It's Ok
3.I work digitally and my line work is always messy cause I can't make a single big stroke and I always do a lot of small strokes and it gets messy

Do you have a few tips about exercises I can do to improve on that part, especially the proportions part cause I think it's the subject that gives me the hardest time.
    thank you.

It's actually much better to do this kind of drawing traditionally than digitally. Partly because of the disconnect that causes all those messy lines. If yu insist on doing them digitally, then after you've got things pretty well measured out and laid in, make a new layer and fade the underneath one to like 30% visibility, maybe change the color so you can see exactly what you're doing, and make cleaner lines on the top layer. When that's satisfactory you can discard the original layer. This approximates the way you would do it in pencil anyway, beginning by drawing very lightly and checking proportions and measurements and angles etc before committing and putting down your darker lines.

If you have the problem with perportion then firstly recall your process. What were you thinking about? What techniques did you use? Visualize each area in this way you can easily esstimate the right perportion. The simple principal of perspective is overlap always keep it in mind while drawing anything.
