A Smart Task Assistant, made for Artists?

I thought this was a pretty cool idea - a task manager that knows about how I work (ie, I'm a master of the "snooze" button!) and tailors reminders based on that. It sends me messages via text and email and sends me daily digests of what I should work on based on my deadlines coming up.

Hopefully this helps other artists manage their time and workload:

Looks pretty cool but I won't pay 10 bucks for something when there is pretty much no info for this on the website. Looks kinda like a scam tbh.

Why does any so called artist need something to tell them to work on assignments?

In a perfect world we would all have unlimited time to paint and we would only stop when we thought that a painting was well and truly finished. However, most people that are working in entertainment have very strict deadlines, and most clients don't care if you have 1 really good piece when they payed you for 5. IIRC Darren Yeow said that at one point in his career he had a schedule set up that detailed every minute of his day, even down to lunch and breakfast.

You don't need some fancy tool to do it, but some people need some sort of schedule.

And some people want to make money? The problem with scheduling is not so much setting up the schedule, but sticking to it, adapting routine/schedule to respect the deadline, communicating when things are impossible. No piece of software in the world is going to help you with that.

I always thought that creating a schedule and workflow for yourself was something that you kind of have to develop as your practice. If I didn't treat my artwork like a job that I had to do everyday then I could be pulled away by any nonsense that floats by. I do write down my tasks that need to be done on little post-it notes so I get the satisfaction of crossing them off. But I am just one guy that knows he has to do work, do it well and do it on time. If a scheduler helps you with that then more power to you but I am sure there are free ones all over the place.
