feeesh: Thanks!. I really esteem your comments. I am going to try to use more references to practice these bad habits. Thanks!

p4b10: Yeah. I was using the pen to draw more confidents lines instead use a pencil that you always can use a rubber to erase it. Gracias por hecharle un vistazo a mis dibujos!

I just forgot this one. Itīs very special (for me). I drew it yestarday when i went to visit to my grandmother. She is my first life model... She is 91 years old. She signed up this draw at the botton of the page.

Black pen. It took me about 10 min.

hiya Pich, I just browsed through your sketchbook and I'm impressed by your improvement rate. I know that problem of not having enough time for drawing but as long as we keep to it we *will* improve!

man, great sketchbook. I really like your anatomystudies, so clean. I have to buy myself a sketchbook too only drawing on single papers, but you cant take them anywhere. Is a5 comfortable to draw? sounds a bit small..anyway, keep posting

Thanks you very much to visit my sketchbook.

geki: Yeah, i donīt use any guidelines. I like to use the pen because with it i be able to control the pressure of my own strokes. Thanks for your replay!

DARKWIND: thanks bro!. I donīt add landscapes, trees or animals in my drawings because all of them are only sketches and studies. When i will have learn a few more iīll start to use composition, contrast, landscapes, etc.. to express something. XD

jester:Thanks!. Yeah, the time is a bad friend in the world of the art but this canīt stop me! Thanks again jester!

hurricane: Thanks! I usually see your sketchbook when you update it but usually i am very busy with the university so I havenīt much time to make the replay but yesterday i have it so i stop and reply it.XD. I admire your progression very much.

Darkside: I start like you doing my drawings in pieces of paper (a4) but someday i considered to buy a5 sketchbook. I think is more manageable and it give you more confident in your drawings because of you have to do the sketches more smaller than in a4 paper.
    Prove it.
Note: my sktechbook are only 60 gr of weight, it was the most cheaper in the shop. 1.99€. XD

    Saivix: Thanks very much!

Not much time. I think that i overshaded a bit on the middle of the page. X(.

Hiya Pich, I think that the scan just needs more contrast, otherwise it's fine.

Thanks Jester. I only had done the primary step of the shadowing process with a 3h mechanical pencil. Today i work a little more on it, this time I have done it with a normal HB pencil. I think that iīm not going to continue.

    Hope you like.

Pich, looking even better, though IMO shadows could be a lot darker in some areas.

Do you also find it difficukt to work with soft leads on areas shaded with a hard lead?

Happy christmas and happy new year CA.org!

Have been so long time since my last update but today is a special day, today is the magic kingīs day (how do you call it in english?); and yeah, tomorrow start the workshop too(someday i will go and you will see XD).

When a got up this morning I found this present to me (my oldest brother bought me):

Yeah itīs a pastel's box. I never have got any one so iīm very happy.

Obviously i started to draw at that same moment.I donīt have any colored papers so i took a brown hard paper that used to be a paper's cover.

Some quickies to prove the pencils and pastels..

This one is a portrait of my grandmother.. she moved a lot so was hard to draw. 35 min.

This one is a old character that i did some weeks ago.

    See you soon.

Being able to sketch like that with ink is like being able to beat Arnold Schwarenegger in arm wrestling... really hard. You seem to do it effortlessly, excellent job. Your studies and figure drawings are amazing.

    Excellent work, sir.

    Thanks for your replays!

These are some sketches of my thunderdome entry.

    Fisrt thumbails of the characters

Quick pens drawings of both characters. about 7 min each one.

These can be the final versions of the characters..

Finally the thunderdome entry. Itīs was very funny and dificult. It took me about 5 long hours. I couldnīt put in it the details that i wanted at first.

Color... i have to put off the pencils (and blue pen) and i have to start to practice with digital media.

    ŋ portrait per day... ? I hope this !

Yeah the eyes are so bad. I was confused with the photo reference.

I found this photograph in my harddrive so i drew it.

    Hi
Good updates, nice portraits and pencil work - on the last one I think you could add some warmer tones on her face that it looks a bit softer - but good work !

    keep posting!
