Exclamation Healp with drawing the head

I am in a studio art class this summer and am painting a figure with the head looking up and tilted to the side....a 3/4 view. Why did I choose this pose? I have no idea. I have sketched and sketched and looked through webpages and all my books but the proportions still escape me. Can anyone help?

Help you do what ? If you don't know basic artistic anatomy or how to draw and paint it you can't do it. Stick with things within your scope of knowledge and study to improve that scope. There are no quick fixes

You need to understand the structure and think in simple shapes like spheres and boxes - this makes it easier to translate what you've learnt.
